Anaswara Rajan is an Indian actress who works mainly in Malayalam films. Anaswara was born on 8 September 2002 to a Middle-class Nair family to Rajan and Usha Rajan, natives of Karivellur, near Payyanur in Kannur district.She was educated at St. Mary’s Girls High School in Payyanur.Her first feature film was Udaharanam Sujatha (2017). Anaswara gained popularity through the commercially successful Malayalam films Udaharanam Sujatha (2017), Thanneer Mathan Dinangal (2019), Adhyarathri (2019), Super Sharanya (2022), Mike (2022), Pranaya Vilasam (2023), Neru (2023) and Abraham Ozler (2024). Anaswara Rajan made her entry into Tamil cinema with the Trisha starrer Raangi (2022).In 2023, she appeared in the Tamil film Thugs, alongside Hridhu Haroon. It was an official remake of the Malayalam film Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil, starring Antony Varghese. She made her Hindi debut with Yaariyan 2 (2023). In the same year she appeared in Neru, starring Mohanlal directed by Jeethu Joseph as a blind sculptor. Her performance in the film was well acclaimed and regarded as her career best.
